Overview

Patterns Process Finder is a local-first process discovery tool designed to capture user activity and generate standard operating procedures (SOPs) from repeated behaviors. The tool operates entirely on the user’s device by default, with optional uploads for AI analysis and SOP generation via our secure cloud infrastructure.

What Data We Collect

The tool may collect the following data as part of its core functionality:

• Click events (button presses, form submissions, menu selections)
• Keyboard inputs (excluding passwords and secure fields)
• Metadata about windows and applications (app name, window title)
• Browser tab metadata (URLs, page titles)
• Form field labels and input data (e.g., “Name: John Doe”)
• Screenshot data linked to interactions

All data is captured locally on the user’s device and stored in a structured log file. The tool does not transmit any data unless explicitly triggered by the user (e.g., via dashboard upload or analysis request).

Purpose of Data Collection

We collect this data solely to help users and teams understand, document, and improve repetitive business processes. This enables AI-powered workflow analysis and accurate SOP generation for enterprise automation, compliance, and efficiency.

How Data Is Stored and Shared

• Local logs remain private unless a user chooses to upload them to our cloud dashboard.
• Uploads are securely stored and analyzed using encrypted connections.
• We never sell or share your data with third parties.

Your Rights

You may request access to, or deletion of, your data at any time by contacting us at richard@wefindpatterns.com. If using our cloud services, you may also delete uploaded logs directly through the dashboard interface.
